Handbook of Prayers: Student Edition

My wife and I purchased these as Christmas gifts for our 7th grade catechism class. While I’m sure some were immediately flung across the room after they returned home, perhaps not all and there’s always hope for the future! The full, adult version has been a treasure trove for me for many years. The books arrived in a ridiculously short time frame and in very secure packaging. I love this book for lots of reasons. From the Chapter 1 title “How to be a Better Catholic”(which is a great lead in), to the vast quantity of prayers and instructions, to its size, small enough to be carried in a pocket, I love this book. It not only has prayers and discussions on prayers, it has directions for Reconciliation, directions for Adoration, just everything. I’m thankful Katie Prajean had it available at our diocesan youth conference. I’m a youth director and this is definitely going to become the confirmation present for my parish!
