Great Binding, Puzzled by Yellow Pages
A welcome format, with great typesetting, format, and layout. However, I am very puzzled by the yellow paper, its difficult to look at, and I hope new paper similar to the nice Roman Missal published by MTF is used for future printings.
Great book but
I just received my order for 2 copies of The Order of Penance. It is an elegant book with a sturdy handsome binding and beautiful printing. Nevertheless, it is not bound to stay open on a pulpit. It could be used by one priest, but not for communal services without difficulty. I am surprised by this oversight. In addition, I think it should have had gilt edges.
not readable - paper is a dark yellow
The background color of the pages in this ritual book are dark yellow. I have a hard time focusing on yellow pages. If it was a slight off-white or ivory color, it would have been tolerable. But these pages are deep yellow. I don’t recommend this version to anyone.
