Rev. Michael E. Giesler obtained his Doctorate inTheology from the University of Navarre (Spain). He is the author of a book and severalarticles on Sacred Scripture and the natural law, along with a series of audiotapes on the marks of the Church and the writings of Pope John Paul II. He has also recently published three books ofhistorical fiction on the lives of the early Christians. He is also a member of the Fellowship ofCatholic Scholars.Fr. Giesler is a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei; he was raised in Chicago, and since 1989 has been stationed at the Wespine StudyCenter in Saint Louis. For over thirty years he has given retreats for diocesan priests andthe lay faithful, along with individual spiritual direction.
